Zipacón es un municipio de Cundinamarca ubicado a 1 hora de Bogotá, conocido por sus festivales culturales, su pan de maíz y recientemente reconocido por la gran biodiversidad de sus paisajes andinos. A pesar que esta ruta se puede hacer sin complicaciones en un día, lo valioso de la experiencia es acampar y disfrutar del bosque de niebla durante el día y la noche.
1. Un ecosistema único:
El bosque de niebla es un ecosistema frágil y de gran importancia ambiental por su papel en el ciclo del agua y la captura de carbono. Durante la jornada de trekking en Zipacón el encuentro con el bosque se da entre los 2.000 y 2.700 metros sobre el nivel del mar, desnivel positivo que se recorre desde el mismo lugar en que se deja el vehículo hasta el lugar de campamento. En este recorrido es posible observar especies emblemáticas como tucanes esmeralda, pavas de monte, ardillas, zarigüeyas y hasta perezosos de dos dedos. Para los amantes de las plantas, hay una alucinante variedad, desde plantas no vasculares hasta grandes árboles como robles, cauchos y encenillos, sin mencionar a las características orquideas, bromelias y helechos arborescente que son tan típicos de estos bosques nublados.
2. El recorrido:
Un viaje sensorial
El recorrido es aproximadamente de 2Km en total subida y con el equipo al hombro, por eso, hay que ser muy práctico a la hora de empacar estrictamente lo indispensable. Puede sonar duro y retador, pero definitivamente hace parte de la experiencia, de la verdadera experiencia de acampar en un lugar totalmente natural. Caminar por este bosque resulta siendo una experiencia sensorial única. El sonido de las gotas de agua cayendo en la hojarasca, el canto de las aves y el aroma de la tierra húmeda te envolverán en un ambiente mágico y relajante. Además, la niebla crea una atmósfera misteriosa y encantada que te transportará a otro mundo.
3. El Campamento
Camping en la cima de la montaña
Este plan te ofrece la oportunidad de acampar en la cima de una montaña que separa las tierras altas y las tierras bajas de Zipacón. Desde allí, podrás disfrutar de una vista panorámica impresionante del valle y las montañas circundantes. El campamento se realiza en medio del bosque, en un suelo con abundante hojarasca y un ambiente místico rodeado por árboles, helechos y una neblina que viene y va durante el día. Después de armar el campamento, solo queda relajarse y disfrutar del silencio, colectar madera para encender la fogata y alistar los ingredientes para el mejor de los banquetes en la montaña. No hace falta mirar el reloj, allí el tiempo transcurre de manera diferente y la única prioridad es conectar con uno mismo y con la montaña. En el campamento, podrás realizar fogata, taller de atrapa sueños, ejercicios de meditación y observación de fauna y flora.
